Family Art Activities and Storytelling at Red Poppy
FREE!
Every Saturday the sidewalk outside the the Red Poppy Art House bursts with young painters and beautiful colors, as children and families explore a variety of free creative activities. The program was established to encourage creative and educational experiences in an open, outdoor forum in the Mission neighborhood, while promoting dialogue among their community members.Today, as part of YBCA’s What’s the Big Idea Day, Red Poppy expands its Saturday family art activities to YBCA’s Room for Big Ideas (RBI), with painting and storytelling with La Malamaña.
This Public Program is supported by a generous grant from The Wallace Foundation.
